Bhanu Pratap Singh: This all started with a little no-cooperation of Torsha, and Pallavi with the veteran, average looking and average singing potential boy, who kept on giving auditions to Indian Idol to make a way through his career and even got the clear suggestion on national screen from Annu Malik’s side that he should have thought of something else as his career in place of Music. The words, which sure could have broken someone, who was giving it a try from last many years, leaving his family apart, all the suggestions apart and neither he was an exception, when he said from now on, he won’t return back to Indian Idol again.
Who knew at that time, what looked like just a pity from Annu Malik or Judges side, will come to make history. Bhanu sure look like winning more votes than Ananya or anyone else.
26 years old Bhanu Pratap Singh from Jaipur has been learning music for the last four years and today he is an accomplished stage singer. He admits music is his priority and his only lifeline. Undeterred by competition, Bhanu tried his luck on Indian Idol for the last three seasons, but couldn’t make it beyond the theatre round. Currently he is gearing up to put his best foot forward with renewed energy and make it to the top in Indian Idol 4. Although somewhere I got to see that he attempted for Voice of Rajsthan as well, but as its not confirmed, I don’t want to go out with making it a fact.
When it comes to family, then he admits that his love towards music kept himself a bit disconnected from Family. The policeman father always wished him to have a normal life than the music. His family includes Parents, two elder brothers, two sisters-in-law, a sister and brother-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Everyone guesses that his journey won’t be much long like Ravi from Indian Idol 2, but still he is managing himself safe all the time. Yes, he is singing well. Best of Luck Bhanu.

Bhanu Pratap of Indian Idol fame is a real fighter

Bhanu Pratap, as his name aptly indicates has been the ‘Suraj ki Roshni’ when it comes to sheer talent. Making it to the gala is a big achievement for the young lad, as this was his fourth attempt at Indian Idol. “Every year I would reach the top 50 directly, but would then crash out. I have suffered a lot and have always had to fight against my fate”, quips the fighter in Bhanu.

He goes on. “I had to leave home seven years back as I wanted to make music my career and because my family had other plans. But I never lost hope and always redoubled my efforts aiming to bounce back”, says he.

Having reached so far, he is quite hopeful that he will make it all the way this time around. “I not only sing well but have a great personality too”, he says. On the competition, Bhanu says “All 14 are good, but Prasenjit and Shini have the edge at least in voting”.

However, he expects all of Rajasthan to support him. “I have become the symbol of pride for my desert state. But I want not only my home state, but all Indians to vote for me”, states Bhanu.

Among the judges, he believes that Javed Saab is the best, not because he is the senior man out there, but because he has a mature personality and each and every word of his makes lot of sense”, avers Bhanu as he signs off.

Bhanu Pratap has finally made it to the Galas of Indian Idol, and has now set his eyes on the coveted title of Indian Idol...

Indian Idol 4 has witnessed the lucky entry of a contestant Bhanu Pratap. Bhanu who way trying his luck for the fourth consecutive time, was almost out of the contest in the theatre round. Judge Annu Malek became emotional and suggested Bhanu to secure his life, instead of wasting time for Indian Idol.

Bhanu was almost leaving the audition room, but another Judge asked him to stop and narrated an inspiring story. Bhanu alongwith Judged and other two contestants became emotional. Annu Malek could not hold his tears and after hearing the another song from Bhanu allowed him to sing in piano round.

Since then, Bhanu is working hard and trying to justify the decision of Judges. Last week on October 31 and November 1, he sung very nicely. All the Judges praised Bhanu for his excellent singing and Kailash Kher prayed for him too to clinch the crown of Indain Idol. Bhanu has become favourite of 'Janta', audience as well. It would be too early to say the final result of Indian Idol 4, but Bhanu is looking a strong contender. Let us see what happens in the coming week.
